February 14, 2008, Joshua (a Black Knight) was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor.  On Februaary 21st, he had surgery to remove it. The surgeons were only able to remove part of the tumor because of its location.  He has gone through several rounds of radiation and Chemotherapy, his last round being in late August.  In early August of 2008 he was told that the tumor was not growing and that the space around it, left by the part of the tumor that was removed, was still clean.  Joshua continues his uphill battle with the ferociousness of a Lion but with the heart of a true Champion.  In early August Josh was awarded a wish through the Make a Wish Foundation.  He took his Mom and Grandparents to Hawaii.  This continues to be a struggle for Joshua and his Mom as they together fight this Tumor.
His insurance picks up a small portion, but they are left with substantial and mounting medical bills.
Josh can sometimes be seen on the Black Knight sidelines wearing his Number 14 Jersey.  He would be on the Big team this year and is still considered one of their captains, due to his never quit and positive attitude!!!
